This top lead generation tip will help your business generate lots more leads immediately.
Every business needs more leads. The ability to generate leads, particularly strong, relevant leads is the first step to engaging your customer and eventually making a sale. Using this lead generation tip will help you achieve this.
This is where a lot of our students struggle. Some of them have come from MLM. With MLM, your leads are your natural market. And so, one of the major draws of MLM is that you get to skip the first step of building your business, lead generation. But what if you don’t want to sell to your friends and family?
Well, my top lead generation tip is this – lead with value. That’s right – always provide value first. Don’t pitch your company or product! Every business is busy pitching, and they are pitching to the most pitched to generation in history! The only way you can stand out, is to provide value, that is to say, lead with value.
Leading with value means giving away something of worth for free, without expecting anything in return. Once you’ve done this, you begin to build trust, and while trust is important in all businesses, it is particularly with the online business, since the internet is full of scams and con artists.

Beyond building trust, you establish your brand as an authority in the field, someone who is in a position to give valuable advice.
With these in place, you are in a position to ask for a potential lead’s email address. Once they’ve given you their email addresses, they become a lead.
Now, there’s not a lot of point in generating a bunch of leads if you’re not doing anything with them. And so the next thing you need to do after generating leads is to keep in touch is them.
That’s the next point where a lot of our students struggle – what do we talk to them about? If you’ve generated leads this way, the best place to start would be to engage your leads on what they joined you for in the first place. For more on this, check out my blog post on knowing your audience.
