Your Power: Your gift of free choice

Who holds the power in your life?  Have you given it away without even knowing?  Most people give it away without even knowing it.  But you can easily get it back be taking back your gift of free choice.

By now, we know who holds the power in the US.  But who holds your power?  Do you, or does someone or something else.

The US Presidential Election was a fascinating watch from over here in Singapore.

Many people in the last 2 weeks leading up to the elections, told me things that I thought were strange.  They said they would do ‘this’ or ‘that’ depending on who won the election – and this was in the context of their online business, or whether to start their online business.

For example, there were people who would start an online business if Trump won, and others who would invest further in their business further in Hillary won…  along with numerous other permutations and combinations…

I can understand that there are macro-economic factors that could affect investment decisions, but for an online business that is driven primarily by consumer traffic and selling educational products, such macro-economic factors are at best ‘noise’ and at worst, completely irrelevant!

That’s the beauty of this business, it’s the fact that internet traffic is internet traffic in good or bad days.

Dropping a net into the right place, and driving traffic to the SFM is all we need to do to keep our business running.  It’s a really simple, robust business system, and a system that really doesn’t need to be over-complicated.

If we focused on this, and stopped allowing the ‘noise’ to distract us, we would get to our goals a lot faster.  I’ve blogged about this recently – click here to read this post.  But more importantly, we’ve taken back charge of our lives and our decisions.  We’ve not given our power to make these decisions away to something completely irrelevant like who wins the elections.  And even more importantly, we then become responsible for those decisions, because we own them and we know we made them.

So take back your power today.

Make a choice to give yourself a better future today.  No one else can do this for you – you’re the only one with that power – only you have been given the gift of free choice over your life – that’s your power.
