Asking – Simply the Best Way To Learn Anything!

The quickest way to learn anything is to just ask. That might be easier said than done. Learn more.

I had an extended session at the gym today, and thought I’d share this conversation I had with a couple of my buddies with you.

We were talking about what we’re going to have for lunch, and invariably the conversation went to grilled meats and how we’re intending to season the meats.

All sounds pretty mundane up till now but bear with me there’s a lesson here.

We talked about growing our own herbs for seasoning the meats, and one of the chaps said he can’t grow herbs because he hasn’t got green fingers.

That thought was curious for me because I used to believe I didn’t have green fingers as well.

However, after starting my online business, and learning all those skills, I realized that not having green fingers just means that you’ve not learnt the best way of growing plants.

Anything can be learnt if you put your mind to it.

It’s the same as being in the gym and getting a personal trainer.

I wanted the most results as quickly as possible, so I hired a personal trainer to show me exactly how to get those results I wanted to get.

Having had that conversation I got home and I wanted to make some eggs, because you know after a tough workout at the gym, you want to get a lot of protein and egg whites are great source of protein.

It’s basically an egg maker my mum got this for me because she thought it was the most convenient way to cook eggs just perfectly.

You just pop the eggs on, switch it on, and they practically cook themselves.

With that in mind, I thought “I’d never gotten eggs just perfect with that, and in fact less perfect then and then just boiling them…”

My mom’s gotten great results with that, so the quickest way to learn how to use this egg maker properly is to just call my mum and say, “how you learn, how do you cook the perfect eggs of this?”

Anything can be learnt, and if you want the results that someone else has, then you just need to ask that person.

Of course its that’s easier said than done, because a lot of the time, people who are having results in business, haven’t got the time to share the exact steps with you.

Which is why I’m grateful to be a member of a entrepreneurial community and education program where we share with each other our growth, we share how we learn.

That’s how I learnt to start an online business has allowed me to quit my lawyers job of 20 years and just spend time doing the things that are truly important to me.

So, if you want to grow plants don’t believe you haven’t got green fingers. There’s no such thing – it’s just that you haven’t learnt how to do it.
